You’ve heard of the phrase, “Think Globally, Act Locally.” Join us on Saturday, October 28 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a special workshop to learn and practice some of the best strategies and techniques of working at the local government policy level. This workshop will be led by Ted Terry, executive director of the Georgia Chapter of the Sierra Club and the Mayor of the City of Clarkston. Ted’s unique perspective as an environmental policy activist and a city-level public servant will guide you through steps that you can take in your own community to move forward more bird-friendly policies and resolutions.
